Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a form of manual exfoliation. A sterile surgical blade is stroked along the skin at an angle to gently "shave off" dead skin cells from the epidermis whilst also removing the fine vellus hair or "peach fuzz" on the face, leaving the skin smooth and glowing.

The benefits of dermaplaning and the removal of the vellus hair will allow for and increase in absorption of tropical skin care products, whilst also promoting healthy skin cell turnover.

Dermalux. Flex LED light Therapy

Dermalux Flex MD is an award winning, medically certified LED phototherapy treatment which delivers clinically proven light wavelengths to transform the skin with out any pain or downtime. A course of treatments are recommended to see visible and lasting results.

How dermalux works:

When clinically proven light wavelengths are applied to the skin, they have a significant impact on how we look, feel and perform. Phototherapy like photosynthesis converts light energy in the same way our bodies use nutrients from food. This in turn supercharges cell function and accelerates our rejuvenation and repair processes.

Microneedling

Using a hand held dermal roller, microneedling stimulates the production of the new collagen and elastin in the skin by puncturing the dermis with microscopic needles. The treatment utilises the skins ability to heal itself, in turn triggering the production of new collagen and elastin.

In addition to treating pores, fine wrinkles, loss of elasticity, scaring and pigmentation. It also enables topical products to penetrate deeper into the skin, increasing their effectiveness.

Clinical Skin Peels

A skin peel is considered to be one of the least invasive ways to improve the appearance of our skin. The peel applied will enhance and smooth the texture of the skin to remove the damaged outer layers. It is an effective treatment for fine lines/wrinkles, uneven skin tone/ pigmentation and can stimulates growth of healthy skin cells and collagen.

Anti Wrinkle Injections

Botulinum Toxin Type A is a prescription only medication that can be used to limit muscle movement in certain areas which can cause dynamic wrinkling

The most common areas treated are frown lines, forehead lines, and crows feet. Treatment plans are patient specific with a review carried out after 14-21 days to assess treatment outcomes.

They improve skin quality, texture and hydration by stimulating the fibroblasts in the skin to produce more collagen and elastin.

They can be used on any area of the body where skin is laxity is poor. They are very effective in the under eye area, face, neck area, hands or where scar tissue is present.

A course of 3 treatments is recommended for optimum results with a single dose required every 6 months to help maintain results.
